My prefered backup solution is to send data to a USB external hard disk. The hardware and software I use are Seagate Freeagent USB Drives with BackupAssist Backup Software. BackupAssist is a wrapper program that, under the hood, directs the built in NT Backup or Windows Backup program that comes on every Windows Comptuer; theirby creating backup sets that do not require any special softare to be read.
